I had my car serviced, and I always have good experiences with the service department. Not in the market for a new car right now, but I will stop at this dealership. BTW, there are snacks some parts of the day, coffee, tea and water - all free. A nice perk!
Update Dec 2023 - Toyota honored a paint recall that was in effect but quite old. Ryan scheduled me, arranged for the rental car, and the process couldn't have been easier! The body shop used (possibly Beaver Chevrolet in Jax) did a phenomenal job and in a shorter span of time than I thought it might take. I've always been treated well at this dealership, and I recommend it.
Further, my daughter and I went in after my car was repainted to look at a car for her. We haven't done a deal yet, but Seth C has been great. Other salesmen are friendly but not pushy, and thanks to the gentleman who rode with us when I test drove the car today. Apologies for forgetting your name.
UPDATE: Dec. 2023 - The story behind this is long so I'll cut to the chase. The car I thought my daughter was going to buy is now mine! Seth Cameron helped us for over a week with diligence and patience. He answered many questions, put my mind at ease about several issues, and was generally just awesome to work with! He's not the only amazing salesperson at Beaver Toyota, but he's my sales buddy of choice for sure! I highly recommend him!
Christian (spelling?) Beaver was my finance guy. He didn't rush me through the process, but explained what I was signing and answered questions. In fact, when I admitted to being nervous, he turned from his computer screen, gave me his full attention, and asked why I felt that way. Then he listened to my answer and talked with me. I appreciated that level of caring, especially in the midst of closing the deal. Seth came by a few times to check on me, too. When all papers were signed, I got them on a flash drive. (With the choice to have them printed, too.) Times have changed since I bought my last car!
Paperwork completed, I rang the bell, and then Seth took me to the car, paired my phone with the car's system, and gave me a short tutorial on some of the main features. He assured me I could call with any questions or problems.
I had the chance to observe staff members interact with each other and with customers, and noted the upbeat, positive energy and respect shown to everyone. That's the kind of business I want to support. Thanks, Seth, Christian, and staff!
Update Sept. 2024 - Had a routine oil change and also a electrical and undercarriage check. Electrical was okay. A part of the undercarriage needed clips replaced. Brian was a very good advisor. For the first time, I got a short video of the underside of my car as various things done and needing to be done were pointed out. That was a very nice touch!
November 2024 - went by to ask questions of the service people and collect a promotion prize. Nothing new, but I heard the Toyota dealership is moving to 207 & I-95. That won't be as convenient, but maybe whatever the new dealer is will work on my car. I think it's still supposed to be under the Beaver brand.
Late November - Car serviced, and splash guard fixed. Parts for recall are on order. Brian was my service advisor again and did a great job of educating me about the next service needed. Haven't been online yet, but I expect there may be another video overview of the visit. Hope the splash shield holds up this time. The facility is clean, beverages and some snacks are available and the staff members I interacted with were very nice.
