This Weeks Winner Larry Mitchell from Murray Middle School

Each week we recognize and award a Student of the Week from St. Johns County School District with the Beaver Award for Excellence. A local station, the Beach 105.5 comes into the dealership and interviews the student to air on the radio. This week’s winner is Larry Mitchell, an 8th grader at Murray Middle School!

Show your support and congratulate Larry in the comments below!

Larry encompasses all the pillars but I would think his most prominent pillars are Respect, Fairness and Caring. Larry is a very caring citizen of this community. Larry plays basketball for AAU travel team outside of school and has always been able to keep up on his schoolwork, join the community for events and watch over his little brother. He makes it a point to speak to every adult in the hall and always has very good manners. He has many friends that look up to him and he can very easily de-escalate a situation between other friends. He displays positive character throughout his school day and I think his teachers would agree with me.
