Each week we recognize and award a Student of the Week from St. Johns County School District with the Beaver Award for Excellence. A local station, the Beach 105.5 comes into the dealership and interviews the student to air on the radio. This weeks winner is Kylee Walton, an 11th grader at St. Augustine High School!

Kylee holds her friends and her fellow peer pals accountable for following the rules and being honest and trustworthy. Mrs. McMaugh can always rely on her to complete tasks assigned and ask questions for clarification. Kylee supports her friends and encourages them to do the right things. She also displays great “Jacket” character on a consistent basis. She is also in the AICE program and taking several honors classes.


Kylee likes to draw and paint everything from landscapes to human features. She also likes to swim and spend time outside.

Extracurricular Activities:

Kylee is the secretary of the SAHS Art Club and also a student Peer Pal in the Principal’s Office.

What does she want to do after high school:

Kylee plans on attending UCF, UNF or UF and will pursue a degree in Psychology. Her goal is to work towards her Doctorate degree in that field. She would also like to work with War Veterans and children.
